Fall Tag...with watchmaker vial

We have a tag challenge going on over at Scrapbook Place Challenge blog  the design team has created some beatiful tags inspired by Fall.  Here is a tag I created for the Challenge.  I used a large manilla tag and color washed it with Tim Holtz distress inks using a brayer and a bit of water.  I have used fall stamps from Pink Paislee watercolored with distress inks.  Crinkled seam binding hand dyed by me using vintage photo ink. I have used one of the vintage watchmaker vials and attached a bit of vintage sheet music around it, inside you will find a tiny silver key and lock..I adore little keys!!  Pearl and rhinestone embellishments by Prima.  I added in two beautiful roses by Wild Orchid Crafts spritzed with a little walnut stain.  Why don't you join us over at Scrapbook place challenge blog, we would love to see your creations!

Vintage glass watchmaker vials

So I was born in the wrong era..my husband tells me this all the time, I'm a romantic at heart and love all things vintage!  I just paid a small fortune for two boxes of antique watchmaker vials..I had to have them, they were calling my name..lol!   I have marvelous plans for each of them..but in the meantime I have several sets to spare and listed them on eBay for a set of 5. When I was searching to buy these I found them anywhere from $0.75 ea. to $1.50 ea. so I have mine listed for $0.60ea. because I'm not really looking to make money off of them but would like to downsize this lot..they are so lovely!!  And with so many uses, wouldn't they be wonderful in a Tim Holtz collage.  Love them!!   So if you are interested have a look at my auction: http://tinyurl.com/3bf54an    wouldn't they be so lovely with a piece of vintage sheet music tucked away inside with a little ribbon..
