This week over at Scrapbook Place challenge blog the design team girls are working on 3D projects. While trying to decide what to use for my 3D project, my Mom came to mind.. She just made a room in her house for all her heritage vintage things, so I thought a framed collage would be great to add to her room. I can't deny that I have the very best Mom in the whole world so I was very excited to put together a framed piece of art of all her favorite things..buttons, lace, old keys and watches, pins and birds. Hope she likes it ;) Also a special thank you to Anna for the gorgeous pearl flourishes..love em!!
Cumberland Island was beautiful indeed and we are all in agreement that it was well worth the 4hr. round trip from Savannah! Although I was beginning to have second thoughts when trudging through a half mile of sand dunes to get to the beach, lol! But the mansion ruins and the wild horses were stunning. The walk to the ruins was a treat in itself with all the huge oaks with moss hanging over the trails creating a canopy to shade the sun. This is one of those little places that everyone needs to have on their bucket list, its full of peace and tranquility and alot of history!
Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend! I'm spending my 4th in Savannah, GA. Its beautiful here! We watched the fireworks over the river on River Street..they were stunning. If you have never been to Savannah then I strongly encourage you take a trip there..its so full of history, just lovely. We plan on heading over to Cumberland Island on Wednesday for a day trip, hope its a pretty day because I plan on taking lots of pictures. I'll be back to share some later. ;)
A little about myself..I'm T short for Teresa..I have been married for almost 10 years, hubby's name is Shaun. We have two little rascals, Jacob and Jeremy that are my inspiration for scrapbooking. We live in the beautiful historic Chattanooga,TN!! This hobby has became a great love for me~ I finished my first real scrapbook when my son was born but I have always enjoyed paper crafting. Everyone asks what is your scrapbook style? And I don't really have a particular style..I just go with what the picture is telling me. Hope you enjoy looking at my creations. ~hugs,T
