Well..I had high hopes of getting bunches done..but the robbers thought otherwise and came and ramsacked my car and took off in Shauns car with my purse and all my personal belongings in my car..so dang if they didn't take Shaun's brand new cell phone and both our XM radios..Jakes brandnew baseball equipment. Poor little guy started baseball last night and we had to run out right before practice and buy him another bat, ball, glove, pants..etc. etc... So needless to say it has been a terrible week! BUT..I did manage to get a few pages done before bad luck struck again..YIPPEE!
These are layouts done for the fashion inspired challenge..and you can see from the articles of clothing how they relate to the layouts. This was alot of fun...picking out cutesie clothes and mimicing the designs. I wish I had more time to research for more ideas.
Wish me luck in recovering my purse and vehicle! hugs,T
I'm having a really tough time with the reusable challenge..
Can't get in the groove to dig out my stamps that haven't seen the light of day in 2 years. Luckily I have a couple sets of acrylic I can use, but that really limits me in theme choices!!! So, I will not have a high page count this round for sure!
I did however manage to get my first set of
CD calendar pages done..well, only October..but I've at least got one month finished!! Yipppeee!
I have accumulated a large stash of wonderful swap items, and I desperately am trying to get them all scrapped. Here is some wonderful pieces made by Christine from Creative_SB_Creations. I just love the palm tree tag. I'm waiting on the perfect beach photos to finish these two out.
I'm really trying to use up some of my swap pieces I've been hoarding all this time. Here are some more pieces from a monogram swap. Creative SB Creations~ I just love the R monogram!! Sorry, I cannot give credit to the designer because I can't find the name? Give yourself credit if you designed these pieces. I love them!!!
I've been working on sketch layouts tonight while the boys were busy playing nicely. The bottom layout has pics from 2004. I have been waiting to find the perfect embellishments for it. Jake and Jeremy stripped and went mud sliding into Granney's creek. There is a little journaling block that pulls out from the "I can explain" sticker.
I've been tagged by Lindsy (http://abeanabugandabird.blogspot.com) The Rules:So this is how it works. I must post the rules, 7 random things about me and then tag others to do the same. Sound fair enough, right? These are the rules…. each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves on their Blog. People who are tagged need to blog 7 facts about themselves and post the rules as well. At the end of their blog list 7 people you are tagging. Let them know that they are tagged by leaving them a comment. 1. I have two very ACTIVE boys ages 4 and 6 2. I'm married to Shaun (8 years) 3. We spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica~ I LOVE rainforests! 4. I am a terrible scrapbook addict! 5. I've been a Respiratory Therapist for almost 10 years 6. I live in TN and work in NC 7. I drive a Honda Element (everyone laughs at me for it, because it looks like a shoebox!)
Ok..the first challenge is PAINT...paint, paint, paint! I love PAINT!! And so far I've only finished 2 layouts..but what fun! In layout #1 LUCKY is painted using MM foam stamps and orange paint. Layout #2 features painted chipboard stars to match pattern paper. This paper line is by Scenic Route Metropolis and I love this kit!!
This primarily will be used to post layouts for the scrapbooking survivor game going on over at luckybug starting June 1st. Feel free to stop in and check out my layouts as I post them, I love feedback! hugs,T
A little about myself..I'm T short for Teresa..I have been married for almost 10 years, hubby's name is Shaun. We have two little rascals, Jacob and Jeremy that are my inspiration for scrapbooking. We live in the beautiful historic Chattanooga,TN!! This hobby has became a great love for me~ I finished my first real scrapbook when my son was born but I have always enjoyed paper crafting. Everyone asks what is your scrapbook style? And I don't really have a particular style..I just go with what the picture is telling me. Hope you enjoy looking at my creations. ~hugs,T
