Only one layout to share, these are the kids learning how to play cards while at the lake camping..lol!

Then I wanted to share a couple pictures of the mountains where I live. They are beautiful and green this time of year.  I live in such a beautiful area..the Smokey Mountains are absolutely stunning..but yet we are always wanting to go long distances to see beautiful places, forgetting that it is so beautiful right where we are...

Next week we hope to travel to Maine. I've always wanted to see the rugged coast line of Maine..the lighthouses, the fishing villages, the vintage looking towns. ahhh...can't wait!  Its a 21 hr. drive for us but

we wanted to make it a road trip and stop a few places along the way.  I'll be taking tons of photos along the way ;0)

Playing catch up with some photos...

Ok so I'm way way behind on my pictures. They are stacking up fast and I'm at least a year behind..more like 2 realistically.  We planned to go camping with my Brother and SIL for a few days but got rained out. So we hung out at their house watching movies and just spending some family time together. He doesn't have Wi-Fi so while the boys were playing I spent a little time catching up on some pages.  I used digi kits and a couple templates  from The Shabby Shoppe ..I love this shop!  So if you've never designed a digi layout..I encourage you to give it a try!  I'm working towards 30 layouts so that I can make them into a book for Christmas presents.  Wish me luck ;0)  

Happy fourth of July!

I love the Fourth of July..reminds me of my hometown..and little country towns spread across the South.  Where I am from, Fourth of July meant wagon trains and the GA Mtn. Fair, fireworks over the lake after tubing and skiing all day, cookouts and homemade peach icecream, baseball...ahh..I really miss those days!  Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!

Searching for Uru and bird images...

OK..I desperately need about 10 or so images of Uru and bird for a project I'm working on.  Its not feasible for me to pay $13 with ship to buy it when I only need a few images. So if anyone out there in blog world has this stamp and can swap me a few images I would be so so happy!  I have Wee with reindeer and Uru with candycane..or maybe its Uru with reindeer and Wee with candycane..anywho...I'd be happy to swap some images of those or of course any thing else that I have.  Thanks bunches!       hugs,T

My little man...

I so love it when a layout turns out exactly like you had it pictured in your mind!  I had all this stuff laying out on my desk for days and days ready for a layout..but I just couldn't get it together. Then suddenly i knew exactly how I wanted it to look. I love this picture of Jeremy, hard at play and not knowing the camera was anywhere around. So innocent is my little guy!  He's the greatest part of me!

Sure is HOT out!

We spent a couple days with my best friend and her family at the lake, it was the perfect weather for it!  The mountains were beautiful and the kids had so much fun playing together, wish we had time to do it more often..Summer is absolutely flying by. I'm so sad that its already almost the Fourth of July. My boys will be going back to school very soon. I have so much fun stuff  I'd like to do before then..gotta get busy playing!

More Hanglar love...

Another sweet Hanglar image from Lim. Speaking of Hanglars..did you know that Hanglar is currently selling kits on Ebay! Very exciting news for us Hanglar lovers in the US. These stamps are very very hard to come by!

I generally like to color Hanglar's in subdued vintage shades..but I really wanted to use this Pink Paislee paper so she ended up a little brigher than usual, lol..she's got to coordinate you know!  Hope you like her...
