Why do birds suddenly appear...


My Jeremy loves to sing..he sings in the shower, in the potty, while getting dressed, in the car, while trying to go to sleep...All the time! So I bought him a little bear for Valentine's Day that sings "Close to You"....he memorized it in no time and now it's his new favorite song.

I am so totally in love with these Shortcuts clear cards I love how you can layer them up and create dimension... And they also look very pretty in a clear envelope, lol! So here I've created 2 more Tilda cards using the clear cards and Basic Grey Blush pattern paper.

Friday sketchers card


I just love pink/brown color combo, that and blue/brown are my fav color combinations! So...as I was rummaging through my shelves of paper, I found an unused pack of Basic Grey...woohoooo! Its the Blush line and I just had to dig into it. So you'll be seeing alot of pink/brown cards in the next few days, heehee! This card I designed using the sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week. My baby sister is getting married!!




My little sister is getting married...and although we have tried to get her married off for several years now..she has chosen this Valentine's Day for the big day...as in just a few days away Valentine's Day, haha! So we have been running around like crazy people trying to get it all organized. I wanted to share a few of her bridal pics with you guys. Heidi sent me some pretty awesome gifties in the mail. A baggie of goodies for a blog candy prize, a much needed black CTMH ink pad, a beautiful Tilda card...and my favorite, my very own sparkly Edward..teehee! Isn't he the cutest! I dug into a new paper pack from Fancy Pants "Daily Grind", I just love the reds, greens, and blues. So I had to chop away at it and make up a couple cards. Here is Tilda all decked out in her red and green outfit...dressed to match the paper of course ;0)

This card is for Friday Sketchers I had to leave off the flower because this is a clear acetate card and it wouldn't close with the flower inside. Merry Christmas! Paper take challenge and a Christmas card



So has everyone been a busy little bee like me? I've been rushing around trying to get last minute things done for over a month now and still don't have everything ready..where does the time go?? I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season. I haven't had alot of time to post lately but wanted to share a couple cards I just finished up. The blue Tilda winter card is for a Monochromatic challenge over at
Papertake Weekly Challenges. I love this Tilda image..she is so versatile and can be used for about any occasion, I believe.
I'll be working on some calendars, ornaments, candles, wall hangings and frap bottles for gifties..I'll try to post pics as I get them finished. Merry Christmas everyone! hugs,T

Caardvarks~monogram theme card



I just love monograms! I have a box dedicated to them, both big and small...Basic Grey monograms are my fav's, they are so big ya gotta love 'em! I was super excited to hear the theme over at Caardvarks this week is for Monogram cards, wooohooo...It got my creative juices flowing again. I created this Fall card for my luckybugdesignerRAKs partner for the upcoming month. The fall Tilda is so cute and so much fun to color!

Sugar Nellie and Shortcuts...


I picked up some of the cool clear acetate cards from ShortCuts and I couldn't wait to play with them. I love this Elisabeth Bell image from Sugar Nellie (www.funkykits.com)and its new to my stash also so thought she deserved the spotlight. Colored with Copic markers, she is actually behind the first acetate layer thus making her look blurred. Hope you like.. hugs,T

Well, It was my Anniversary and I needed to make Hubby a card. I wanted to use my little owl diecuts because I thought it was "kind of" masculine, lol! I loved
Laura's sketch this week so I gave it a whirl and this is what I came up with. I'm doubling up and using this for my "die cut" card on www.caardvarks.blogspot.com as well, thanks Laura for introducing me to the site!. The theme this week is die cuts! Hope you like..and hope he does too, lol! (Like Men ever really pay attention to the cards anyway, haha!)
